I cant get the "target=_blank" part to work..

what am i missing?? I bet something simple....

I want to make some Nav links open in a new webpage.. but when i add the above code to the link.. it errors out...

its not a path

<a href="<path>" target="_blank">link</a>

not the:

<a href="target="_blank"">link</a> <-- this is what you are doing.

there is no way to do it trough admin cp.. only thing u can do is edit files.. (little harder)

ok.. i still cant get it to work...

since the code is pulling form the DB for the other links... i cant get it to add the "target=_blank" to the link for publishing...

i tried to change the "title2" in the pages table and make a drop down to hold the "blank" option.. then i tried to add it on the link section code, but no work...

the page wouldn't come up...

so apparently my php skills aren't good enough for your pages AXE...

so for now, i am scrapping the project... onto an "Account Maint" module...
